Festivalito is dedicated to fostering and promoting independent digital movies (cine chico) in Spain and around the world, and to knowing the different cultures of the planet through movies and their creators.

It was one of the pioneer digital cinema festivals in the world. And it has also been the first festival to incorporate express filming during the week of the festival.

Festivalito is the big annual party of the cine chico . More than a usual cinema festival, it has become since its first edition in 2002, in a camp and a laboratory of cinema.

Festivalito focuses in the new waves of watching and making movies born after the digital revolution.
It defends cinema as a necessity and as an obligation, as a right and as a duty.

It is carried out every summer in Canarias, in the island of La Palma, a traditional cross roads of Europe, Africa and America.
